Growing up first generation American, you feel an internal tug of war with your identity- what you want to keep, what you want to hide, what you should show, what you should hide. On her first Spanish-language LP, the Colombian American singer Kali Uchis celebrated her roots, with an album sung in her mother tongue. To convey the unique perspective of the album we hired Colombian American director, Myrna Perez.
